Three men needed to lift it!

On a recent trip to Spain, fishing the river Sinker (a few miles from the Ebro) Gary Brown landed this magnificent 178lb, seven-foot long catfish.

Fishing at Mequinenza, using 6x 25mm halibut pellets, with 85lb braid and a 15lb tc rod made by one of the guides, it took Gary a good 45 mins to land the fish. Gary tells us that his arms were ready to drop off!
He added 'It was my only cat of the week but well worth the trip, many thanks to my guides Cauld and Simon'.
