Dedicated angler Dave Dowson from Ellesmere Port with a cracking 38lb 6oz catfish caught from Burton Mere. The big cat was caught on 5 popped up lobworms.
Dave tells us he has spent 31 x 24 hour sessions trying to get a cat over 30lb and has finally achieved his goal.
Well done Dave - you certainly deserve to catch a catfish after all your hard work - Ed.
