Big Cobia for Fred...

Here's regular reader - Fred Divecha with a stunning Cobia - which pulled the scales down to 92lb

During his last fishing trip to the west coast of India - a place called Vijaydurg (500 kms from Mumbai and 160 kms from Goa), Fred hooked into this massive Cobia.

Using his 6 ft boat rod with Penn Spinfisher 8500 reel and 50 lb power-pro braid Fred tempted this monster using a Storm Deep Thunder 15 Blue Mackerel lure.

As Fred says: 'The take was so vicious it nearly took the rod of my hands!' We're told it took Fred 45 minutes to land this beauty!
