Here's Graeme Armes with a lovely winter chub...

The fish was caught from the Dolphin Meadow stretch of the River Ouse at St Ives.

Graeme used liquidised bread in a cage feeder with an 18in hooklength to a 12in feeder length paternoster rig along with a size 10 microbarb hook. A 2oz tip on a 1.25tc barbel quad tip k class rod with Shimano 5000gte and 6lb Maxima chameleon line.
Graeme used that old favourite - cheese paste as hook bait with free offerings
catapulted in every so often.

Graeme tells us he fished a crease in the river after a flood - with the rod tips fished high to avoid too much tow from the pacey river.
