Korda's
Underwater Carp Fishing Part 3
Double
DVD. £19.99 Run time: 210 mins
This
high quality double DVD is shot at RMC's 'Blue Pool' and is well presented
by Korda's founder - Danny Fairbrass.
The DVD shows carp (and tench) feeding and their reactions to various
rigs and baits.
Throughout the DVD, Danny changes rigs, presentations and hook baits,
trying to tempt the wary RMC carp, eventually finding the winning formula.
Using all the latest state-of-the-art carp tackle - some not yet on
the market, he explains all his tips and techniques very well, coupled
with good 'close-up' shots of all the bits and pieces.
The actual underwater filming is very good, it's interesting to see
the carp behaving naturally, picking their way through the swim, it
even shows carp sucking up hook baits without hooking themselves. (I
wonder how many times this happens to all us carp anglers.)
The DVD opens up the natural world of the carp, it gives an insight
into their behaviour which we haven't seen before, it will certainly
make you think about your carp fishing and hopefully improve the way
you fish.
The actual quality and production of the filming is second to none,
with the DVD 'menu' well organised and easy to navigate.
The only problem I had - was the difficulty getting the actual discs
out of the case, resorting to a screwdriver to press the button in the
middle of the disc case!
At
3.5 hours long, the DVD is best sampled in a couple of sessions, otherwise
localised rigour-mortis sets in the lower regions and you get complaints
from other members of the family, I can't understand why...
If you liked Parts One and Two, then you are going to love this three-and-a-half
hours Part Three! It's a worth-while investment and will certainly get
you thinking.
