Keep that spreader-block...
This one’s for the carp guys, my landing net’s now got this addition - ‘cos I lost the original spreader block during a late-night session. Simply drill a small hole in the spreader-block and one in the main fitment (see diagram). Tie them together with heavy-duty line (leave enough to be able to dismantle the net) and you’ll never lose the spreader-block.Sounds simple doesn’t it? It’s a lot simpler than having to buy another block!While you’ve got the net out - why not glue some isotopes to the end of the arms - it really helps when you’re trying to net a fish in the dark... |
