Induce a bite

When you are still-water feeder fishing, particularly in the colder weather when the fish arn't too interested... try inducing a bite...

Cast out as normal and let the feeder settle... then after a few minutes - gently draw the feeder back a few inches (depending on your hook length)... this puts your hookbait into the baited area, and disturbs/empties any bait still in the feeder.

Any fish sat watching your hookbait thinks its' 'meal' is escaping... and grabs it.

It really is satisfying when you 'Induce a bite.'
