It's a record!

The world record for the biggest Giant Snakehead is 10kg caught in Malaysia. This new catch is of a 12kg specimen that was recently caught in Thailand. A big Giant snakehead is quite a rare creature and to catch it on a lure is exceptional. This amazing Channa Micropeltes was tempted to strike by a brand new Killer Frog surface lure only weeks after the first of these amazing frog replicas went on sale.

For any dedicated angler there are times when you may have a great day and others you may stand for hours without even a hit.

This guy sure had a hell of a day when he hooked up with this beauty, known for its hard dives and dirty fighting, big snakeheads are a great challenge for lure anglers.

The new Killer frogs have proven already that they are hot property. Handbuilt and painted in Thailand by artists who know their lures the new Killer frogs have done the business, this could be a great season for some more big catches.
