Another exciting week for the carp anglers!
Season permit holders John Gant and Gary Clarke had 7 fish during their two day session, these included a 22lb mirror, a 30¼ lb mirror, a nice 20lb leather carp and a terrific 38½lb mirror.
Steve Orme also had an 18lb mirror.
The weed is not too troublesome on the main reservoir and is best avoided at Wick Lane and around Lodge Lane. Noahs Ark car park is also fishable.

On the Wick Lane Lake the bream are feeding well with Gary Duke having a superb mixed bag with over 50lb of bream plus a 16lb common carp and some silver fish. Tony Banks also had a great day on the same venue netting 22 bream for a catch that topped 100lb.

The pike anglers continue to enjoy good summer sport with plenty of fish and reasonable numbers of doubles. Tim Parker caught two fish to 15lb, Wayne Gerbes had doubles of 10lb and 14½lb and Mark Brand had a specimen perch along with 3 small pike.
