Steve made it back to back wins, winning on the Cavendish lake with the help of 5 bream that came late in the match on pole and pellet, but Wednesdays match on the Holmedale it was to windy to fish the pole so he alternated between the waggler and straight lead cast to the lily pad with meat on the hook and loose feeding pellets over the top he was into carp all match landing 17 his biggest going 9lb 15oz putting a creditable 67lb 40z on the scales. 2nd placed Pete Ellis was on a slightly sheltered peg and managed to fish the pole short at 6m with corn and pellet on the hook he had 24 carp – 7lb. 3rd was fishery boss Mick Langton with 9 carp – 8lb all on the pellet feeder and corn.
