Fishing reports for w/e 22/06/07 Caistor Fisheries
General
Warm but rain, heavy at times. Pole anglers finding things difficult
in exposed pegs on windy days. Spawning seems to have finished for
the time being. Water levels are at maximum and water colouring is
very good.
Pond A
Pegs 2 and 3 have produced Carp up to 8lb on floating mixer biscuit.
Maggot has taken some good sized silver fish up to half a pound on
the float. Tench showing to double sweet corn on the pole from peg
7 and 8 .
Pond B
Pegs 18-20 all producing well with Carp into double figures. The pole
seems the best option with maggot or worm over chopped worm. Peg 4
has had some good mixed nets with Carp to 6lb and Tench to 5lb. Maggot
feeder techniques paying off even in still conditions along pegs 7-11.
Crucians starting to feed on single red maggot.

Still producing some good nets up to 50lb, most pegs producing fish
although still some anglers fishing too heavy. Pole to the island
