Young angler Jack Perks from Nottingham sent us this pic of a bullhead - which he claims could be a new British Record!

Fishing at Fairham Brook, a side-stream to the Trent, Jack was targeting chub and roach when he landed this bullhead pictured left.

Using a chubber float with bread flake on a size 14 - Jake says 'It put up a good fight - pity they don't grow 10lb heavier'.

Unfortunately Jack didn't weigh the fish, which was safely returned back to the water. Jack added that the water also holds stone loach, trout and a whole host coarse species.

Could this be the start of a Mini-Records revival? - Ed
