Pendle
View Fisheries Pendle View Fisheries
is located in an area of outstanding beauty within the Ribble Valley.
It nestles amongst some of the most spectacular scenery to be found
in the heart of rural Lancashire, with superb views of Pendle Hill and
Wiswell Fold. The lakes are fed by streams which run down from the above
hills. |

Ongoing restocking
policy for all lakes to ensure customers are satisfied on an ongoing
basis. All
in all, the site caters for the fly fisherman, keen carpers, pleasure
and match fishermen. There will also be an opportunity for those who
want to "do it in style" to stay in the newly built holiday
accommodation.
Work
has just been completed on the 1.5 peninsular lake. The lake has been
stocked with over 2,000 lbs. of fish including Crucian carp, Roach,
Rudd, Ghost carp, Bream, Tench, and Gudgeon. This lake will accommodate
up to 30 pleasure fishermen. Specimen Course Lake
The
near 9 acre lake is well stocked with many, many thousands of silver
fish including Bream, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Gudgeon, Perch. There are
also 500 plus head of larger Mirror, Common, Grass and Ghost carp. The
average weight of these carp is around 15lb, but many catches in excess
of 30lb. have been verified by our duty bailiffs. Two very large catfish
can also be found in the specimen lake, with weights of more than 27lb
and 30lb and an 11lb 8oz Bream was caught last summer!. Holiday Accommodation For those customers
who want to "do it in style", or tourists who simply want
a break in beautiful surroundings, we have erected two log cabins. Talk
about a view to die for...Each chalet can accommodate up to six people
and comprises of two bedrooms, bathroom and fully fitted and living
area. From the M6 you leave at junction 31 and travel some 9 miles or so. Pendle View is situated on the right hand side about 400metres past the A59/A671 roundabout, just opposite the new McDonalds. From the M65, leave at junction 7 or 8 and follow the signs for Clitheroe. Turn right on the A59/A671 roundabout. In both cases, when you reach the next roundabout on the A59, just opposite the new McDonalds, turn back on yourself and take the first slip road/exit on the left.
