Trout Lake

The 1.6 acre trout lake was crafted by the new owners from an existing, but badly silted, overgrown and neglected pond. It was opened in May 2002 for some trial fishing and has not closed since! It is well stocked with Rainbows, Brownies, and Blueys up to 9lb in weight. This project has been a huge success and offers the angler the opportunity of a sporting or game ticket (four fish maximum).
Ticket tariffs are flexible and cater for the angler who just wants a couple of hours fishing after a stressful day at work, up to a full days fishing. The trout lake accommodates approximately 15 persons at any one time.
The owners have adopted a restocking policy, which keep the opportunities for a catch or two at an excellent level all the time.

Pleasure and Match Lake

Work has just been completed on the 1.5 peninsular lake. The lake has been stocked with over 2,000 lbs. of fish including Crucian carp, Roach, Rudd, Ghost carp, Bream, Tench, and Gudgeon. This lake will accommodate up to 30 pleasure fishermen.
This lake will also be used for angling matches, but limited to 25 pegs or under (the corner pegs will be excluded from use in matches). Larger matches will continue to be accommodated on the main course lake. We have again employed our custom made marine quality hardwood pegs, so anglers have a good sized and solid base from which to fish.

Specimen Course Lake

The near 9 acre lake is well stocked with many, many thousands of silver fish including Bream, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Gudgeon, Perch. There are also 500 plus head of larger Mirror, Common, Grass and Ghost carp. The average weight of these carp is around 15lb, but many catches in excess of 30lb. have been verified by our duty bailiffs. Two very large catfish can also be found in the specimen lake, with weights of more than 27lb and 30lb and an 11lb 8oz Bream was caught last summer!.
The Specimen/course lake accommodates 86 pegs. These include eight double or family pegs. Bivvies can also be used on most of the banks. The lake is a carper's paradise.
