The maggot feeder is accounting for all silver fish nets of over 30lb with pole
fished caster also scoring with mixed match weights pushing 50lb.
Pleasure anglers on the strip ponds are taking nets in excess of 120lb made up
of carp, goldfish, tench and skimmers with Martin Harrison landing three doubles
and an impressive tench of 7lb 10oz from the second strip employing pole fished
sweetcorn and worm.
On the carp lake, specimen angler John Walker tempted nine lumps to 25lb 8oz from
peg three using boilies with Brian Taylor banking a mirror of 25lb 10oz using
boilies.
Over on the trout lake, Tommy Sanderson slipped his landing net under nine fish
to a personal best rainbow of 15lb 8oz on green Fritz and intermediate line with
fellow fly caster Mathew Harris tempting 16 fish to 6lb on black and red buzzers
and a floating line.

pellet and caster fished shallow has accounted for match weights to 68lb 6oz with
the venue’s better mirrors of up to 14lb showing.

venue taking carp nets to 64lb in matches on moat and bream and carp weights to
45lb on bridge with meat also fished on the long pole a favoured alternative.
Croft pool is responding to pole fished pellet or maggot with small stockies to
3lb and hair rigged corn or pellet on the bomb.
