Here's Lewis Jepson with a lovely River Trent carp - that pulled the scales down to over 20lb.

Lewis tells us:
MY NAME IS LEWIS JEPSON, I AM 12 YEARS OF AGE, NOT BEEN CARPING THAT LONG ME, AND MY DAD WAS DOING A 48 HR SESSION ON THE RIVER TRENT AT LONGEATON IN NOTTINGHAM.
MY DAD SET IT ALL UP FOR ME, HE USED 20LB HYBRID HOOKLINK 6IN LONG WITH A HYBRID WIDE GAPE SIZE 10 HOOK AND CONNECTED WITH A KWIK LINK AND A 3OZ GRIPPER LEAD.
I WAS FISHING ON THE BOTTOM, THE BAIT I WAS USING WAS CC MOORE 18MM METEOR FREEZER BAIT. FISHED 10 YARDS FROM THE BANK.
ON THE FIRST NIGHT I HOOKED INTO A 20LB MIRROR WHICH WAS MY FIRST EVER CARP, LATER IN THE SESSION I HAD A CARP OF 12LB AS WELL
I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULT
