A wealth of knowledge up for grabs

I have in my possession what must surely be the greatest possible source of angling knowledge in existence, especially in respect of how the sport has changed over the years.
Having been obsessed by angling since I was a very young boy I have over the years bought so very many of the vast array of different magazines that are devoted to the sport.
Whether the publications covered game fishing only, or coarse fishing, or both, the number of publications that have started up only to cease publication at some time or other is amazing, though there are lots of newer ones published today.
The point of all this is that I have saved my magazines over the years.
I have well over 2,000 fishing magazines including so many different titles including famous ones like Creel and Fishing Gazette both sadly no longer published.
The magazines take up a lot of space in a bedroom and to transport them would need a sturdy van because they go back to the mid-1930s and cover some 70 years’ worth of reading.
Maybe I should sell them on to anyone who offered a fair price and could make good use of them, but I confess that parting with them would sadden me.
Many of the magazines include features that I submitted myself you see, and also so many of the famous regular contributors were known to me and fished with me over many happy years.
