Hooking pellets

Antbait hooker pellets are a superb bait, but they are hard and can drop off the hair if you use a normal hair stop.
Try tying this rig, it's easy and it works!

It's a 'no knot hair rig with a simple variation'

Baiting up is very simple:

Just put the Antbait pellet onto a baiting needle as normal, catch the 'slice' of silicon tube in the hook of the needle, and pull right through the pellet.
Then gently pull the 'slice' back into the pellet - so it is fully inside the pellet.
It grips really well, it's virtually invisible and its quick!
You can even match the colour of silicon tube to the colour of the pellet.
We use a slice of silicon tubing about 2mm wide, but try experimenting with various thicknesses to see what is best for you.

Give it a try - let us know how you get on with this super time-saving tip

PS: When hair rigging boilies - ever thought about using a short piece of thickish pole elastic instead of a normal hair stop?
