Aron Hollaway reports 15lb of Roach last Sunday in peg 11. Aron had fish to 12oz. Later he moved to peg 13 and had a 6lb Tench.

Charity event.
The 24 hr fish sponsored fish-in planned for 21st & 22nd of July is almost at capacity, any one wishing to fish this event should tell me now.

Match results.
Saturday open was a win for John Hurley (Spitfires B) in peg 10, Johns mixed bag went 8lb-12oz.
2nd was Bob Stobart (Spitfires A) in peg 12, his mixed net went 6lb-13oz.
3rd was Bob's team mate Graham Marsh (Spitfires A) with a mixed net for 6lb-12oz.
This match was fished in very heavy rain, 1 hr after the match finished the pond had 2 ft of extra water and in flood.

Sunday, the Plumb-it Challenge.
Spitfires (B) v Brampton Institute.
After spending 6 hrs Saturday night running off flood water, getting the pond water level to normal just before the match started, I could not do anything about the colour of the water.
Out in front in peg 11 was Alan Smith for Brampton, Alan had a small Carp and a few bits for 6lb-7oz.
2nd was Brampton's Darren Smith in peg 9 with 5lb-12oz of bits.
3rd was John Hurley jr for Spitfires, John had 5lb-5oz, which included a 4lb-4oz Tench.

Brampton 20lb-0oz Spitfires B 12lb-2oz.
Brampton go to the next round.
