Fur and Feather Match
Fur & Feather winner Pete Andrews and second
placed Mike Burnside with Rutland Water senior warden John Seaton

There was a superb turnout for Rutland Water's Fur and Feather on
Sunday 3 December with over 50 anglers fishing, in spite of some very
grim weather.
This is a very popular event with anglers travelling long distances.
Father Christmas was around to provide some festive cheer - another
great Rutland tradition. At the end of the day an excellent meal was
enjoyed at the Waters Edge Cafe Bar.
Anglers raised over £100 for England Disabled FlyFishers in
a raffle organised by Trevor Ashby.
Pete Andrews (who lives near Grantham) won the match with Mike Burnside,
who travelled all the way from Newton Aycliffe, County Durham taking
second place. Hampers were won by the top 6 anglers with every angler
taking home something from the prize pool.
