Dave Fitness with a lovely 26lb common caught from the River Darent at Dartford.

Dave used an Abu float rod, 5lb line, maggot and worm on a size 16 hook to tempt this beauty. He tells us the fish broke his first landing pole, and had to wait for his wife Ginny to rush down with the carp net to land it. Dave added: 'I went out to fish for small roach, so you can imagine how pleased I was to catch a common'.
