'Do you want to become an Angling Coach'?

If you want to put something back into the sport of angling and safeguard it's future - perhaps you ought to consider becoming a qualified 'licensed' angling coach.

The National Federation of Anglers can help you to achieve this important objective, provided that you already posses the required 'technical skills and abilities'

The NFA are scheduled to start Level Two 'Certificate in Coaching Angling' courses in the following three areas: Lincoln, Chester and York.

Subject to demand the NFA can also set up satellite centres in other parts of the country - provided they have eight or more candidates registering for a course.

Applications can be made by completing the attached form (pdf) and returning it to the NFA Central Office marked for the attention of Glyn Williams, Coaching Development Officer.

Anyone requiring further information should contact Glyn direct on 01909 501030 or mobile 07729 412044

Editors Note:
I have to admit - becoming a coach for the NFA is one of the best things I have ever done.
I've learnt new techniques and procedures, I've met some wonderful people and visited some great fisheries.
You get proper training and guidance - the tutors are all anglers and they are on your side, they will give you all the help you need to qualify for the certificate. There's no catches or trick questions - if you know your angling - this could be for you. It can be hard work but with a little determination you shouldn't have a problem.
Give Glyn Williams a call - he's a down-to-earth angler with a lot of common sense, you won't regret it.
