Arron Brown's Story

My fishing adventures started when I was a young boy and went fishing with my Dad...

He taught me everthing I know, but I eventually realised I wanted to be a carp fisherman, because I enjoyed catching them and they fight alot!

I fish at a place near where I live called Caddighton Fisheries, me and my best friend Paul ride our bikes to get there. It's a long trek - but when you get there - its well worth it.

I've caught many carp there, I remember almost every carp I've ever caught and I remember when I wanted to catch my first ever carp - it was at a Leighton Buzzard Fishery and me and my dad were fishing on a hot sunny day. I was float fishing in the margins and my dad was sitting next to me. I had the bite and my float didn't come back up, my line was coming out - I was shocked! My dad told me it was a nice carp and he helped me to land it.
I fought it for about 10 minutes and eventually it came up and I landed it, dad said it was about 15lb in weight. I was sooo happy.
I now really enjoy every fishing adventure I have!
