It's a biggie for Sean!

A pike session on the River Wharfe in Yorkshire turned out to be a red letter day for Sean when he landed this cracking perch.

Sean from Leeds, was pike fishing when this magnificent 'stripey' attacked his spinner, Sean tells us the perch put up a great fight and when weighed, it pulled the scales well past the magical 5lb mark. He admits his weigh-scales aren't the best in the world,
so the weight cannot be verified.

Another session on the same peg a week later, produced seven pike to 15lb and two perch to 4lb 7oz. They all fell to the same spinner!
There could be a new British record soon... watch this space.
